FJB Ltd. started business in 1984 working for the Lamborghini factory, making a US version of the famous Countach model. This was all done in Torrance, CA and after the project was done, it took 1 ˝ years and went through total manufactures testing by the EPA and DOT, this silver Countach was sent to Italy and then copied for the US market. I was offered a permanent job at Lamborghini, but being the desert rat that I am, I could not bring myself to move to LA. I was offered by Lamborghini and started a service business doing only Lamborghini, a secondary job as engineering in aerospace R&D was primary, and this service job is still going today while the aerospace job is long gone. After a few years I had world wide customers and I flew all over the western part of the world repairing Lamborghinis. FJB has branched out into other services since then doing shock absorber service and repair, plus servicing Mopars (Dodge & Plymouth) high performance cars and upgrading them for the street and race. In the early 70s I was doing turbocharging and was so impressed by it I never forgot what it was and how it worked. Today that business has resurfaced and is doing well custom turbocharging. The name FJB Ltd has a long story and if you and I ever get together I can tell it to. I even have a clean version of it but I will say now that I owe the idea and name to Mr. Bob Wallace who was the Lamborghini’s factory test driver and redesign engineer until 1976.
