We do everything except interior and painting. If it’s mechanical we’ll work on it, repair and or improve the problem. Electrical problems are not our problem and rewiring the better half of a Lamborghini is done regularly at FJB Ltd. This is all done with better wire and the correct or larger wire gauge and color is always used. Terminals are always soldered on and battery cables are made in house, usually bigger and better than stock. Engines are not (just) rebuilt here. We improve and upgrade these masterpieces with modern high performance parts and pieces of better quality than original. Changes are made in some of the engines systems like ignition, oiling system, and the fuel system including a change over to a modern fuel injection that is the latest, state of the art systems! It’s really not that hard to do and the drivability is made so much better, it’s really worth it if you’re Lamborghini is a driver, driven alot. Piston dome design is where improvements have been made and don’t think just because it’s a HEMI there can’t be improvements. Same goes for cam profiles and let’s not forget the valve train. I have in stock .050 larger valves that are unleaded fuel friendly, Titanium valve spring retainers, new and improved valve springs along with cam followers ( some call these buckets) that are 1/3 weight less and oil the valve springs better than stock. Clutches and flywheels, well it’s the same story here. Better is always installed and after all, 15 to 30 years there is large improvements in the technology of these parts that has come a long way as far as clamping force and reliability. The oiling system on all of the Lamborghini engines is OK, but improvements here are also done. At least we add what I call an oil pre-oilier. This is nothing more than a electric pump that is started and engaged before engine start up to wet and pre-oil all the engines systems that need oil to live. I see bearing damage all the time because of what is called DRY starts. This is where the engine has sat for a long time, over a couple of weeks, and then started. You know what I’m talking about; when the oil pressure gauge takes a long time to move up to where it’s suppose to be when the engine is running? No oil, no pressure, dry bearings and cams………………………ouch big time! Flip the switch and let the pre-oil pump do its job for a few seconds and start the engine with instant oil pressure. We install these pumps on a lot of the race cars and it helps tremendously. The oil is sucked out of the oil pan, pumped through the engine just like it was running only it’s not so everything is wetted. Complete suspension systems, including the shock absorbers, are made just like new. All bushings and joints replaced and the A arms will be painted semi-gloss black (epoxy paint or powder coated) if they are suppose to be colored black. Wheel bearing are checked at this time, repacked with synthetic high pressure, high temperature grease or replace if that is what is required. It’s really surprising how many shops and customers forget these very important pieces of the suspension systems. These bearings are taking extreme loadings running this fast at top speed and the high loading during hard cornering. By the way, if you didn’t know this, the wheel bearings in almost all Lamborghini’s are almost twice the size of a normal car. Transmissions and differentials are repaired here just like engines. CV joints are repacked as needed and by the way, posi differentials can be installed in case you’re tired of doing one wheel burn-outs all the time if your car doesn’t have one.
